Brigstow Institute Funding Application Form

Welcome to Brigstow Institute’s funding application form. Before you submit your application, you will need to have completed a Worktribe costing and have had the costing approved by your costing specialist and relevant heads of schools. Please speak to your costing specialist for support with this. A list of Costing Specialists is available on SharePoint to people with a University of Bristol login.

This application form is used to apply for any of Brigstow’s funding competitions. Before beginning your application, please check the funding page of Brigstow’s website for guidance about the funding competition you are applying for. As well as the closing date for the competition, the guidance will let you know what is required for each question in the application form. This will give you the opportunity to create your responses with the whole team before submitting your application. Do check on word limits in the guidance too; we are strict about them. 

There are some resources on Brigstow’s website which previous teams have found helpful to use before applying. You can have a look at a checklist of useful things to discuss as a team, some words of wisdom from previous competition winners, and Brigstow has created a series of toolkits which might help with team discussions before completing the application. These are all available on the Brigstow Toolkits page of the website.

You will receive an email acknowledgement when your application has been submitted. If you have any problems using the form, please email us as soon as possible at hello-brigstow@bristol.ac.uk.

It is not possible to save the form and come back to it later. We suggest you work on the long answers in a Word document and copy them into the form so it can be completed in one go.
